Co-Curricular

Our Co-Curricular Activities programme provides an exciting opportunity for our students to try new activities, cultivate new interests and develop skills and aptitudes which will help with their personal and academic development.

Co-Curricular

Co-Curricular activities are run across year groups, encouraging our students to connect and make friends with children of different ages.  Integrated into the school day from Year 1, and daily from Year 3, our Enrichment sessions include sports, music, performance, further language study and much more.

Enrichment choices are made every term; some options can be changed each time, whilst others, such as enhanced Mandarin, or music ensembles, may be pursued over the long term.  The focus of all Enrichment is the development of motivation and, of course, a structured, enjoyable learning experience.

Enrichment also includes Prep Time.  Borrowed from the boarding school culture, this is a House-based session during the School day in which students from Year 3 upwards focus on their homework activities.  Overseen by House staff, daily Prep allows everyone the opportunity to study independently – yet still with teachers close at hand, should questions need to be asked about equations, or the history of computers (and so on).

Wellington College Bangkok also offers a full and dynamic programme of after-school and weekend activities, known collectively as Wellington Extra.  Please see the WEx page for more details.
