Ms Emma Rickaby joined Wellington College Bangkok as a Class Teacher in August 2024 and has been teaching in Year 5 for the past two years. Ms Rickaby was very keen to join KS1 and is excited to be working within the Year 2 team this year. 

Ms Rickaby graduated from the University of Kent in 2001, with a degree in Psychology, and went on to complete her PGCE at the Institute of Education in London in 2006. From there she taught in London for seven years before moving to Hong Kong to teach at a British international school. In 2019, she returned to the UK where she taught at a prestigious private school in East Sussex for three years. Realising that she very much missed teaching in Asia, Ms Rickaby made the move to Bangkok and is now happily settled here. With a wide range of teaching experience across Early Years and Primary classes, Ms Rickaby enjoys bringing creativity and a love for learning to the classroom.
