Mr Jamie Perrin joined Wellington College Bangkok when it first opened in 2018. He began his teaching career in Istanbul, Turkey and has since taught nearly every age group in various British international schools in both Europe and Asia. After earning a degree in Law, Jamie then completed a teaching qualification with the Graduate Teacher Program. Following this, he completed a Master's Degree in Education.   

Mr Jamie introduced the Duke Awards at Wellington last year and these are proving very popular as an award scheme for primary-aged children to encourage and develop valuable life skills. 

He is a firm believer that to develop a child to their full potential, a teacher must create an environment where children are not afraid to experiment and confident that it is okay to ask questions and make mistakes. Jamie’s favourite part about teaching at Wellington is working in a team with such energy and positivity, as well as the sharing and openness that everyone brings. “Working at Wellington also gives me the opportunity and resources to develop individuals who have the best chance of becoming lifelong learners in a state-of-the-art, purpose-built school with the very best facilities.”
