Sean Spillane
Science Teacher
Senior School
Mr Sean Spillane joined Wellington College Bangkok with over a decade of experience teaching in international and UK schools. His career has taken him across the globe, with teaching roles in Dubai, London, Beijing, and Thailand, giving him a deep appreciation for diverse educational settings and student needs.
Sean is passionate about helping students build strong academic foundations through consistent, positive habits. He believes that success in science—and in life—comes from the daily routines and mindsets students develop over time.
“For me, teaching is about more than content. It’s about cultivating habits of curiosity, discipline, and resilience. These habits compound over time, leading to meaningful academic progress and personal growth. My goal is to guide students toward becoming independent learners who take ownership of their journey.”
