We are very fortunate to have an exceptionally close relationship with Wellington College in Berkshire, England. Wellington College offers co-educational excellence in the heart of the UK and can justifiably claim to be one of the world’s great boarding and day schools. Offering both A levels and the IB Diploma, the academic provision is second to none. Academic results and Oxbridge and Ivy League offers, which consistently place the school at the top of the league tables, are not the only markers of Wellington’s educational success. A world leader in educational research, Wellington lessons are typified by a wealth of subject knowledge and top-tier pedagogical practice.
The current student body represents 44 nations, speak 25 languages and 122 live overseas, making Wellington a diverse and exciting community in which to live.

Wellington College International

Wellington College international schools are a leading group of K-12 international schools in premium global locations. WCI currently has 8 schools in the family educating over 8,000 students aged 2-18. There are 5 international schools situated in Tianjin, Shanghai and Hangzhou, China, and now in Pune, India and of course Bangkok, Thailand. Additionally, there are 3 bilingual schools located in Shanghai, Hangzhou & Nantong, China. The WCI network continues to expand, with new schools announced to open over the coming months and years in Indonesia, Nigeria, Qatar, the USA and Kenya.

Wellington College Prep is a co-educational, boarding and day Prep, Pre-Prep and Nursery located close to Wellington College. Wellington College Prep offers academic excellence and widespread opportunities, helping children reach their full potential in a happy and exciting environment. The school is proud of its academic record, preparing children for a host of top independent schools and boasting a diverse and robust curriculum. Wellington College was founded in the 1856 by Queen Victoria, in memory of Arthur Wellesley, Duke of Wellington, heroic victory at the Battle of Waterloo, and former British Prime Minister, who had recently died at the age of 83. The College opened doors to its first 76 students (all boys) on 20th January 1859. In 2005, the decision was made to become completely co-educational. Today, the College has well over 1,000 students, between the ages of 13 and 19, more than 80% of whom are boarders.
