Neil Brown joined Wellington College Bangkok as a Year 6 teacher in August 2025 and is about to embark on his tenth year in teaching in a career spanning the UK, the UAE and now Thailand. In his previous school Mr Brown led Science and previously led Year 5 and Humanities.  In these roles, Mr Brown was responsible for subject curriculum development and the development of his colleagues across school.   He was also a mentor to teachers undergoing their initial training. 
  
Mr Brown graduated with a BA in Media Studies from Sheffield Hallam University in 2003 before embarking on a career in the financial services industry.  He left a major UK insurance broker in 2016 to undertake his teacher training in order to pursue his dream of becoming a primary school teacher.  Mr Brown graduated in 2017 and went on to complete an MA in education in 2019.
