Ms Rosie Statham joined Wellington College Bangkok in 2025. She trained as a primary educator after completing her English and Drama degree at the University of Bristol in 2010. Since gaining her PGCE, Ms Statham's passion for education has grown, taking her to teach at an international school in Malaysia, gain her MEd and in 2025 she earned her NPQ in leading teaching.
“I am looking forward to continuing my Wellington journey in Year 2. With pupil wellbeing at the heart of my teaching practice, I enjoy finding the most effective and engaging ways to allow all individuals to reach their full potential across the curriculum. I believe in a calm, nurturing approach in the classroom, creating safe and supportive environments where children feel confident to take risks, make mistakes and learn from them. I aim to create rich learning experiences that are engaging, interactive and purposeful, supporting each child to grow academically, socially and emotionally so they can thrive both in and beyond the classroom.”
