Charlotte Baxendale joined Wellington College Bangkok as the Deputy Head of Junior School in August 2022 from North London Collegiate School in South Korea. Ms Baxendale has a Bachelor's Degree in Experiential Design from the University of Kent and a PGCE in Primary Education from the University of Roehampton and she completed her Master's degree in Character Education at the University of Birmingham. Over the past ten years, she has worked in a range of teaching and leadership roles within Primary schools in the UK, Panama and South Korea. “It is my fervent belief that student well-being and the nurturing of whole personalities are integral to students’ educational success, and I am passionate about fostering a sense of belonging for all our students. Along with ensuring academic excellence, we must equip students with the best possible attributes to not only navigate a largely undefinable future, but to flourish within it and make a positive contribution to the world.”
