Hannah studied Philosophy and Psychology at Newcastle University and then continued straight into completing her PGCE in 2002. She followed this with a master's in education at Newcastle, as well as a certificate in Creative Arts in the Classroom at Kings College. Whilst originally training in Maths for KS2 and 3, she quickly decided that the primary years was where her passion for teaching lay. She has held many leadership roles throughout her career, including leading the creative curriculum, phase lead, Deputy and Head of School. She is very passionate about always ensuring children are excited and inspired in their learning, and that as a result they are motivated to achieve their full potential.   

“We have such a responsibility in the primary years to nurture our children, ensuring they develop strong academic foundations whilst also supporting them in making good decisions as they grow into confident, kind and respectful young adults. I can’t wait to support my new class in all areas of their learning, and very much look forward to the journey we will soon embark on ahead.”
