Jonathan Taylor will join Wellington College International School Bangkok as Head of Libraries. Originally from Ireland, he lived in South Korea between 2011 and 2025, spending many years at NLCS Jeju, where he helped grow the Senior School Library into a lively and valued part of school life. 

He holds a BA in Business and Management from Dublin Business School and an MA in Librarianship and Information Systems from the University of Sheffield. Over the past year, Jonathan and his family have travelled extensively, deepening his interest in storytelling, culture and the many ways young people learn about the world. What he enjoys most about library work is seeing a culture of reading and curiosity quietly weave itself into the everyday life of a school community. 

Alongside his work in libraries, Jonathan has a background in marketing, digital strategy and AI literacy. He is particularly interested in helping young people think critically, ask thoughtful questions and become confident, independent learners in a world increasingly shaped by technology.
