Jodie James will join Wellington College Bangkok bringing significant leadership experience in Art education.
After completing her PGCE at Goldsmiths, University of London, she joined Wallington County Grammar School for Boys, where she became Head of Art as well as a PGCE and NQT mentor. She later moved to The British School in Tokyo, where she continued to lead the department and develop artist-in-residence programmes.
“Intersectionality and understanding the context of our students are at the forefront of my practice as an educator. I am excited to be part of this diverse and culturally rich community. Giving students real-life experiences in creative spaces and empowering them to develop their voice is paramount.”
