Mr Kanagasabay joined Wellington College International School Bangkok in August 2025. He goes into his second year remaining in Year 3.
Mr Kanagasabay graduated from Southampton Solent University with a BA in Sports Studies. After his degree, he began working in primary schools as a SEN one-to-one. It was then in a school in East London that he took the opportunity of completing his PGCE. Mr Kanagasabay worked in the UK as a class teacher for 2 years before moving abroad to Brazil where he worked across Key Stage 1 and Lower Key Stage 2 for 3 years. In his final year he also took on the responsibility of Whole School SENCo.
“As a class teacher I think it is fundamental to build children’s resilience, patience, determination and other qualities that are needed not only in education but in life! I believe our role is to better the quality of education for children, as well as giving them the space to make wonderful memories and build up attributes that will better them as individuals.”
Mr Kanagasabay is very much looking forward to welcoming your child to Year 3, getting to know them and your family.
