Mr Kertesz joined Wellington College Bangkok in August 2021. He brought with him a wealth of experience, having taught in several primary schools over the past fifteen years. Before joining Wellington, he served as Head of Key Stage 2 at another British International School. He also has a strong understanding of Thai culture, having previously lived and worked in Bangkok. Alongside strong subject knowledge across the curriculum, his particular passion lies in teaching Maths. Outside of school, he enjoys playing golf. 

Mr Kertesz is educated up to master's level in both Business Studies and International Education. “I am very much looking forward to my sixth year at Wellington College Bangkok. During my time here, I have seen firsthand the wonderful progress the students make, and it is a real privilege to be part of their learning journey. Helping children to grow as creative, independent, lifelong learners is at the heart of my teaching, and I am excited to make a positive difference with another class.” 

Mr Kertesz is very much looking forward to remaining in Year 4, welcoming your child into the class, and getting to know both them and your family over the year ahead.
