Wellington College Named Co-educational Independent School of the Year

16 October 2026

We are delighted to share that Wellington College has been named Co-educational Independent School of the Year at the Independent Schools of the Year Awards 2026, announced at a ceremony in London earlier this week.

The annual awards celebrate excellence across the independent education sector, recognising schools that deliver exceptional opportunities and experiences for their pupils. This year’s recognition crowns a significant chapter in Wellington College’s history, as the College celebrates 50 years of co-education.

It is a proud moment for the wider Wellington community and a fitting tribute to everyone whose work makes life at the College so rewarding. We send our warmest congratulations to the students, staff, and families who have contributed to this achievement.
