Mr Xinhai Lin joined Wellington Bangkok in August 2025 as Deputy Head Academic in the Senior School. With over 15 years of experience in secondary education across both the independent and public sectors in England, and a proven record of impactful senior leadership, he brings a wealth of expertise in academic strategy, curriculum innovation, and whole-school initiatives. His leadership style is both collaborative and data-informed, fostering environments in which staff and students alike can flourish. Mr Lin was educated at the University of Cambridge, where he earned both a Master’s in Mathematics Education and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education at Homerton College. Mr Lin embarked on his teaching career with the goal of empowering and inspiring young minds to reach their full academic potential. He combines academic rigour with a passion for developing holistic, student-centred learning experiences. In his most recent role at the Loughborough Schools Foundation, he introduced new subject pathways, led staff development programmes, and significantly improved academic outcomes at both GCSE and A Level. This work was highly commended by Independent Schools Inspectors. Multilingual and globally minded, he brings a dynamic, inclusive approach to international education, underpinned by a strong belief in continuous growth and innovation.
