Lucy Blakeley joined Wellington College International School Bangkok in August 2024 and is currently the Head of Year 3. 

Ms Blakeley graduated from the University of Cumbria in 2012 with a degree in Primary Education. Following graduation, she taught across a range of year groups in Manchester before moving to Buckingham, where she spent five years teaching in Key Stage 1. In 2022, she fulfilled her ambition of teaching internationally by moving to Malaysia, where she taught Year 3 and served as the Primary School's Designated Safeguarding Lead. 

Since joining Wellington Bangkok, Miss Blakeley has enjoyed supporting both pupils and colleagues in her role as Head of Year 3. She is passionate about creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment where children feel valued, challenged and inspired to achieve their best. She believes in educating the whole child through a holistic approach, providing meaningful experiences that foster confidence, curiosity and a lifelong love of learning. 

"I believe that every child deserves to feel happy, safe and successful at school. By building strong relationships and creating engaging learning opportunities, I aim to help children develop both academically and personally, while creating lasting memories of their time in primary school." 

Ms Blakeley looks forward to continuing to work closely with pupils and families, supporting each child to thrive throughout their Year 3 journey.
