Lunchtime is an important part of the school day at Wellington College International School Bangkok. Healthy, nourishing and delicious food, pleasant surroundings, and a welcoming atmosphere allow students and staff to relax, socialise, and enjoy their meals together.
We place great emphasis on excellent table manners and encourage students to practise them at all times. Discussions about food, nutrition, and cultural traditions surrounding meals also form part of our learning both inside and outside the classroom.
All meals are freshly prepared each day in the Junior School kitchens by Epicure, a highly regarded catering company that specialises in serving international schools in Thailand.
All students are required to eat school lunch, unless they have a special exemption for religious or significant dietary requirements. Faith-based and allergy-related dietary needs are accommodated within the available menu options.
Dining Areas
Students enjoy their meals in dedicated dining areas designed for their age group:
- Early Years (Pre-Nursery, Nursery and Reception) dine in the Early Years Dining Hall located on the ground floor of the Junior School building.
- Junior School (Years 1–6) dine in the Junior School Dining Hall situated between the Junior School and the Swimming Pool complex.
- Senior School (Years 7–13) dine in the Senior School Dining Hall located within the Senior School building.
