Wellington College Bangkok is a strong and vibrant community that includes not only our students and staff, but our parents as well. The relationships between parents, students and teachers are essential to the success of our school community.
Whether you have been part of the school since Day One or have just joined – your voice counts, and you are valuable to us.
We are fortunate to have such welcoming and engaged parents. When your child joins Wellington College Bangkok, you join a supportive and inclusive community.
We encourage parents to become part of the Friends of Wellington. This parent group has played an important role in the growth of Wellington College Bangkok since the school opened in 2018.
The founding parents met with our Master, Chris Nicholls, to discuss the importance of a proactive and supportive parent body. The Friends of Wellington quickly formed a committee and organised their first event — the inaugural Christmas Fayre — setting the tone for many successful community events that followed.
“At first Wellington was so small that everyone knew each other and everyone knew each other’s children. This made the community very special and it remains a key aim no matter how much we grow,” explain Khun Notachard and Khun Gift (Former Chair and Vice Chair of Friends of Wellington). “We encourage everyone to take part. We are stronger together.”
Community Events at Wellington College Bangkok
Throughout the year, Friends of Wellington organise a range of community events that bring together parents, students and staff.
Kingsley Run – February 2026
Parents, children and staff came together to tackle an obstacle course around the school grounds. The atmosphere was electric as races began for our youngest students and continued through to the parents.
Participants wore specially designed event T-shirts and enjoyed music, food, drinks and plenty of photo opportunities. It was an exceptional day that celebrated fitness, friendship and school spirit.
Christmas Fayre – December 2025
Each year our campus hosts one of the most exciting Christmas celebrations in Bangkok. In 2025 the event featured a magical Harry Potter theme, with illuminated decorations that transformed the campus into a wizarding world.
Families enjoyed themed stalls, games, live music, attractions and a large charity raffle. The festivities began with a magical parade featuring parents, staff and even Albus Dumbledore himself.

Wellington Community Golf – Family Golf Day
The Wellington Family Golf Day at Navatanee Golf Course brought together parents, staff and supporters for a day of sport and community spirit.
Participants enjoyed a welcome lunch followed by eighteen holes of golf with friends. The evening concluded with dinner, prizes, raffles and an auction. The annual Golf Day has become one of the highlights of the Wellington community calendar.

Wellington Parents
Our parents are an essential part of the Wellington community. Their support during events such as Sports Day demonstrates the strength of our school community.
