The spotlight is on Performing Arts this time! Stars of Wellington proudly celebrates the incredible passion, outstanding talent, and boundless creativity of our students, whose dedication and artistry continue to inspire our entire school community.

Congratulations to The Senses & The Firemotion!🎸

Our bands The Senses and The Firemotion proudly represented Wellington College Bangkok at the FOBISIA Battle of the Bands 2026, and both were awarded Silver Medals for their outstanding performances! 

A fantastic achievement that reflects their talent, teamwork, and passion for music. Well done to all band members. We are incredibly proud of you!


PlayTag Band: Young Changemakers in Action 💙

We are proud to share a meaningful social initiative led by our Year 4 PlayTag Band, made up of Silas, Buaswan, Ai Ai, Aizen, and Naza.

Since December, the students proactively launched an online fundraising campaign in collaboration with Taejai.com, an online fundraising platform, to support communities affected by severe flooding in the southern provinces of Yala, Pattani, and Narathiwat.

The campaign concluded on 31 December 2025 and successfully raised a total of 22,719 Baht to help those in need.

This wonderful effort reflects the students’ compassion, teamwork, and commitment to using their talents to make a positive difference in society. We are incredibly proud of PlayTag Band and their inspiring initiative.


We are incredibly proud of Shuya (Year 2)! 🎹

Shuya represented with excellence at the Kawai International Music Competition 2025 – Tokyo Final Round on 23 December 2025, where she achieved a Silver Award in her Grade Class

This outstanding international accomplishment reflects Shuya’s dedication, perseverance, and passion for music. A truly remarkable milestone — well done, Shuya!


Congratulations to Yeong Jae (Year 2)!🥁

We are proud to celebrate Yeong Jae’s outstanding achievement at the Thailand Music Competition 2026, where he competed in Drum Grade 8 and won the highest honour - the Platinum Prize!

This remarkable result reflects his dedication, discipline, and exceptional drumming skills. Well done, Yeong Jae. we are incredibly proud of you!


Congratulations to Aizen (Year 4)!🥁

Aizen achieved the highest honour - the Platinum Prize Award at the Thailand Music Competition 2026 (TMC) after scoring between 90 - 100 marks in the Drum Set, Intermediate Division (Ages 8 - 11). He proudly received his trophy on 1 February 2026

In recognition of this outstanding achievement, Aizen has also been invited to perform a solo at “The Grand Celebration Concert” for the Royal Trophy by Princess Soamsawal, Princess Suddhanarinatha - a truly prestigious honour.

We are extremely proud of Aizen’s dedication, talent, and passion for music. A big thank you as well to his teachers, friends, and the Wellington community for their continued support.


Congratulations to Super (Reception)! 🥁

We are delighted to share our pride in Super for his wonderful achievement at the Thailand Music Competition 2026: The Royal Trophy (Drum Competition - Solo, Ages 4 - 5), held on 1 February.

Super proudly earned the Gold Prize, a fantastic accomplishment that reflects his enthusiasm, confidence, and love for music.

Super was very happy with his performance - and so are we! This is truly great news to share with the Wellington College community.


Congratulations to Archie (Reception)!
Archie competed in the Thailand Music Competition 2026 and proudly won the Platinum Prize in the 4 - 5 years old category - an outstanding achievement!

We are so proud of Archie’s talent, confidence, and love for music. Well done!


Congratulations to Mochi! 🎹

We are so proud to celebrate Mochi for her outstanding achievement at the F. Schubert Music Competition 2025, where she earned Second Prize in the Piano Grade 3 category.

Even more exciting, she has been exclusively invited to compete in the Grand Finals in Beijing later this year - a fantastic recognition of her talent and dedication.

Well done, Mochi! We are incredibly proud of you.


Congratulations to Alice (Year 7)! 🎤

We are delighted to share that Alice has achieved a Distinction in her ABRSM Grade 4 Singing for Musical Theatre Performance exam.

This excellent result reflects her dedication, confidence, and growing strength as a performer. Well done, Alice - we are very proud of you!
