Sports Achievements

FOBISIA Tennis 2026 – Punn (Year 6)

Congratulations to Punn (Year 6)! 🎾

We are delighted to celebrate Punn’s excellent performance at the FOBISIA Tennis 2026 tournament, held from 27 February – 1 March 2026 at Arena Hua Hin.

Representing Wellington College Bangkok in the U11 Boys category, Punn demonstrated exceptional determination and skill, finishing as the U11 Boys Plate Winner.

After a strong Round Robin stage where he won three matches and narrowly lost a thrilling super tiebreak (12–14), Punn advanced to the Plate competition and remained undefeated:

• Quarterfinals: 4–0, 4–0
• Semifinals: 4–1, 4–0
• Final: 4–0, 4–1

Punn’s resilience, focus, and competitive spirit shone throughout the tournament — a fantastic achievement for Wellington tennis.

Thailand Junior World Tour Golf – Vda (Year 5)

Congratulations to Vda (Year 5)! ⛳    

We are proud to celebrate Vda’s excellent performance at the Thailand Junior World Tour (TJWT) Season 2 – Round 5, held on 8 March 2026 at Lotus Valley Golf Resort.      

Competing in Class DG, Vda delivered a strong round of Even Par (E) to secure 1st Runner-Up in the tournament.

She managed her game well throughout the round, playing -1 over the final nine holes before a bogey on the final hole brought her score back to even par.

A fantastic achievement showcasing focus, resilience, and composure in junior golf — well done, Vda!

Wellington U11 Boys Football Team – 3rd Place Cup Finish

Congratulations to the Wellington U11 Boys Football Team! ⚽

The Wellington U11 Boys football team delivered a strong performance across two competitive days, finishing 3rd overall in the Cup competition.

After topping their group on Day 1, the team progressed to the Cup semi-final, competing with discipline and confidence against strong opposition and demonstrating their ability to match high-level teams.

In the 3rd place play-off, Wellington faced Shrewsbury Riverside again. The boys created numerous scoring opportunities and controlled large periods of the match, finishing 1–1 in regular time.

The match went to penalties, where the team showed composure and focus to secure the victory and claim 3rd place.

A fantastic team effort showcasing teamwork, resilience, and the Wellington sporting spirit.

Performing Arts Achievements

ABRSM Grade 8 Piano – Great (Year 8)

Congratulations to Great (Year 8)! 🎹

We are delighted to share that Great has achieved a Distinction in the ABRSM Grade 8 Piano Examination.

This outstanding result reflects her dedication, perseverance, and the significant effort invested in preparing for this challenging examination.

Achieving a distinction at this level is a remarkable milestone in a young musician’s journey.

A truly well-deserved accomplishment — we are incredibly proud of her achievement.

Star Maker Singing Competition – Mochi (Year 5)

Congratulations to Mochi (Year 5)! 🎤

We are delighted to celebrate Mochi’s outstanding success in the Master Class Singing Competition of Star Maker, where she received a perfect score of five out of five stars from the commentator and legendary singer Panadda Ruangwut.

This remarkable achievement reflects Mochi’s exceptional musical talent, dedication, and passion for performing arts.
