Congratulations to Pangrum (Year 9) and our Wellington Swim Team!🏊♀️
We are delighted to celebrate our swimmers’ outstanding performance at the Thailand National Championship 2026, where they represented Wellington College Bangkok with distinction.
In a truly historic achievement, Pangrum broke the Thailand National Record in the 200m Breaststroke — a remarkable milestone that brings great pride to our entire community.
She also secured an impressive medal haul:
- 🥇🥇 Two Gold Medals
- 🥉 One Bronze Medal
- 🏆 First Runner-Up Trophy
Her success played a key role in the team’s achievement of 5th place overall, a fantastic result for the programme.

Congratulations to Klarnissa (Year 9)!🏊♀️
We are delighted to celebrate Klarnissa’s outstanding performance at the Speedo Thailand National Swimming Championships, held at the Hua Mak Aquatic Arena, Bangkok.
Competing over six days in the Girls 14–15 category, Klarnissa achieved an impressive 6 podium finishes:
Silver Medals
- 200m Freestyle
- 100m Butterfly
- 100m Breaststroke
Bronze Medals
- 50m Freestyle
- 100m Freestyle
- 50m Butterfly
She also delivered strong performances with 4th place finishes in the 50m and 200m Breaststroke, and 5th place in the 200m Individual Medley.
This achievement reflects her dedication, resilience, and ability to balance high-level training with her academic commitments.

Congratulations to Punn (Year 6)!🎾
We are proud to celebrate Punn’s impressive performance at the 64th Thailand National Junior Tennis Championships (King’s Cup) 2026, one of the country’s most prestigious junior tournaments.
Competing in the U12 Boys category while still under 11, Punn gained valuable experience against older players. In the Doubles event, his resilience and determination truly stood out:
- Round of 32: 4–0, 4–0
- Round of 16: Defeated the No. 2 seeds (5–3, 4–1), becoming the only unseeded pair to reach the Quarterfinals
- Quarterfinals: A hard-fought 1.5-hour match, pushing to a Super Tiebreak (1–4, 4–2, 5–10)
Throughout the tournament, Punn demonstrated a remarkable never-give-up attitude, courage, and competitive spirit against strong opposition.
A powerful performance full of grit and growth — we look forward to seeing you come back even stronger next year, Punn!

Congratulations to Vda (Year 5)!⛳
We are proud to celebrate Vda’s inspiring performance at the U.S. Kids Golf Thailand Championship 2026, held from 3–5 April 2026 at Black Mountain Golf Club.
Competing in the Girls 9–10 category, Vda finished an impressive 5th place overall in a strong international field.
Scores (54 holes):
- Round 1: 76 (+4)
- Round 2: 72 (E)
- Round 3: 70 (-2)
- Total: 218
Beyond the result, this tournament was a true test of resilience. Despite sustaining an eye injury just before the competition, Vda showed remarkable determination — continuing to compete with focus and courage, improving each round, and finishing with an outstanding -2 in the final round.
Her perseverance, mental strength, and “never give up” spirit truly stood out on the international stage.

Congratulations to Vj (Year 10)!⛳
We are proud to celebrate Vj strong performance at the U.S. Kids Thailand Championship 2026, held from 3–5 April 2026 at Black Mountain Golf Club.
Competing against a highly competitive field, Vj secured an impressive 4th Place finish, just shy of the podium.
Scores:
- Day 1: 77 (Front Nine -1)
- Day 2: 77
- Day 3: 71 (Back Nine -3)
Across three days, Vj demonstrated excellent consistency, composure, and focus. His final round highlighted his growth, with a strong short game and key birdies under pressure to finish on a high.
Beyond the result, this tournament reflected his discipline, mindset, and determination to keep improving.
A focused and resilient performance — we look forward to seeing Vj reach his next goal!

Congratulations to Marker (Year 11)!⛳
We are thrilled to celebrate Marker’s exceptional achievements following the ISGT 2025–26 Golf Season.
Marker has been crowned the Order of Merit Champion (Boys U16), securing this prestigious title for the third consecutive year — a remarkable display of consistency and excellence.
Across the 8-tournament season, he delivered outstanding results:
- 3 Tournament Wins
- 2 First Runner-Up finishes
- Average score of 67.6
In recognition of his incredible performance, Marker was also named the Season MVP and awarded a Foresight GC3 Launch Monitor.

Congratulations to Q (Year 8)!♟️
We are proud to celebrate Q’s outstanding achievement at the 21st Thailand Junior Chess Championship 2026, held from 10–14 April 2026, where he was crowned U14 Champion.
Q delivered an exceptional performance across the 5-day tournament, remaining undefeated with wins against all opponents and one draw. This remarkable result has earned him the honour of representing Thailand on the international stage, with upcoming competitions including events in China and the prestigious 46th Chess Olympiad 2026.
In addition to his chess success, Q has also demonstrated excellence in sport — achieving a Top 3 national result in swimming in his first competition and earning a place on the scholarship waiting list, while proudly representing the school with strong sportsmanship.

Congratulations to our U11 FOBISIA Athletics Squad!🏃♂️
We are proud to celebrate our students’ strong performance at the recent athletics meet held at Brighton College, where they competed against Shrewsbury, Regents, and Brighton.
Despite the searing heat, the team performed fantastically well, demonstrating great effort, determination, and competitive spirit across all events.
This experience will give our athletes valuable confidence and momentum as they prepare for the upcoming FOBISIA Games next weekend.

Congratulations to Emily (Year 7)!🎾
We are proud to celebrate Emily’s excellent performances across recent PTT Tennis Championships, showcasing her consistency, resilience, and competitive strength.
In the first tournament, Emily delivered an outstanding run to the Final, finishing as Runner-Up after a series of highly competitive matches. She demonstrated exceptional mental strength, winning both her quarterfinal and semifinal in tightly contested super tiebreaks (10–8).
In the following tournament, Emily continued her strong form, securing 3rd Place, with another hard-fought semifinal that was once again decided by a narrow 10–8 super tiebreak.
These results highlight her composure under pressure and determination to compete at a high level.
